Day 01: ISTANBUL / CAPPADOCIA
Take a flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport via Istanbul. On arrival to Airport, we meet you at the exit gate with a name board and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 02: CAPPADOCIA (B,L)
After breakfast at your hotel, the tour begins with amazing Rock formations in Devrent Valley and then Zelve-Pasabag Valley where the voice of wind mixes with “the songs of fairies”. After lunch at local restaurant, we visit Avanos where has been center of terra-cotta work of art since 3000 BC. Afternoon we drive to the famous Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cutted churches with fascinating frescoes. The tour finishes with the Uchisar Rock Castle to have panaromic fabulous views. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 03: CAPPADOCIA (B,L)
After your breakfast at your hotel, our first stop is Red valley, we hike through the valley by the untouched rock cutted churches and natural rock formations till lovely Cavusin village which has famous houses and churches. At the end of the hike, a delicious local food awaits us in a cave restaurant. After lunch, we set off Kaymaklı Underground City one of the largest of Cappadocia’s many such settlements. The tour finishes with the most famous Fairy Chimneys in Urgup. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 04: CAPPADOCIA / IZMIR (B)
We pick you up from your hotel for the flight to Izmir. On the arrival to Izmir Airport, we will meet you at the exit gate with a name board and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi or Sirince.
Day 05: EPHESUS (B,L)
After a short drive scenic drive, visit to the House of Mother Mary where she is supposed to spend her last years together with St. John; Then to Ephesus is the best-preserved ancient city in Turkey, famous for its Celsus library, great theatre, marble streets, temples, and baths. It’s situated in the fertile Ionian landscape and has been known throughout history for its temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Ephesus is considered to be the showpiece among all the antique cities of the world. After lunch in the town of Selcuk visit to St. John’s Basilica and Ephesus Museum. Overnight in Kusadasi or Sirince.
Day 06: PAMUKKALE (B,L)
Tour to Hierapolis / Pamukkale As we approach Pamukkale it looks like a glacier is spilling down the mountainside. The name translates to Cotton Castle. In truth these are glistening white travertine terraces formed over millennia by mineral deposits as water flowed out of natural springs. The water is credited with healing powers. It is alleged that Cleopatra swam in one of the pools that is open to the public. Nearby are the ruins of the Roman resort, Hierapolis and a large necropolis. We provide flexibility for swimming at the Cleopatra's pool. Overnight in Kusadasi or Sirince.
Day 07: IZMIR / ISTANBUL (B)
On the arrival to Istanbul Airport, we will meet you at the exit gate with a name board and transfer you to your hotel. We begin with a brief visit to the 17 th century Spice Bazaarone of Istanbul’s most colorful and bustling attractions.
Next, we take an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the majestýc strait that runs through Istanbul, linking Europe and Asia. From our cruise boat, we view the dramatic sights lining the Bosphorus’ wooded shores: mosques, a bridge that for a time was the world’s longest and the massive Rumeli Hisarý, a fortress built by Fatih the Conqueror in just three months as he prepared to take Istanbul. Also noteworthy are the 19th century mansions of the Ottoman elite and the Sultan’s fanciful gingerbread palaces and hunting lodges. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 08: ISTANBUL (B)
This guided City Tour of the old historical quarter starts after breakfast, when you are picked up from the hotel or port by our private guide. Begin with a visit to Topkapi Palace, the main residence of the Ottoman Sultans, with its jewel encrusted treasury and elegant four courts. After a lunch break, visit the main sights around Sultanahmet Square, including the famous Hagia Sophia Museum, once the largest church in the world for 1000 years, and decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Then visit the Blue Mosque, designed with 6 delicate minarets and a striking blue Iznik tiled interior. Nearby, take a stroll through the site of the ancient Hippodrome, once the sporting ground of chariots and political riots, and see the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column and Fountain of Wilhelm II.
Finally, visit the Grand Bazaar, where you can shop or haggle with local merchants over unusual antiques, colorful spices, beautiful jewelry and richly textured fabrics. Drop off to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 09: ISTANBUL / HOME
Transfer from hotel to Airport for the flight to home.
