Ski in Cappadocia
Erciyes Dagi, or Mt Argeus (3916m) as it was known in Roman times, is the extinct volcano 26km south of Kayseri which gave rise to the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia.
Skiing is available 150 days a year (November through April). The altitude of the skiing area is 2200 – 3100m. The average of snow is 2m in normal winter conditions and the type of snow is generally powdery.
Day 1 : (L,D)
On the arrival to Airport, we will meet you at the exit gate with a name board and transfer you to Erciyer ski-center via Kayseri city. Overnight in Erciyes ski center at the mountain chalet.
Day 2 : (B,L,D)
Full day skiing on Mt. Erciyes. Overnights in Erciyes ski center at the mountain chalet.
Day 3 : (B,L,D,)
Full day skiing on Mt. Erciyes. Overnightsin Erciyes ski center at the mountain chalet.
Our guide and driver pick you up from the hotel at athe mountain chalet, transfer to Cappadocia Hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4 : (B,L,D)
After breakfast at your hotel, the tour begins with amazing Rock formations in Devrent Valley and then Zelve-Pasabag Valley where the voice of wind mixes with “the songs of fairies”. After lunch at local restaurant, we visit Avanos where has been center of terra-cotta work of art since 3000 BC. Afternoon we drive to the famous Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia in rock-cutted churches with fascinating frescoes. The tour finishes with the Uchisar Rock Castle to have panaromic fabulous views. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5 : (B)
Transfer to Kayseri airport for the flight.
