DAY 1 ISTANBUL / CAPPADOCIA

Take a flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir via Istanbul. On the arrival to Airport, we will meet you at the exit gate with a name board and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.


DAY 2 CAPPADOCIA (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to teh underground city of Kaymakli & Citadel of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" & Open air museum. The last sites will be Pasabag Valley and Avanos. Overnight in Cappadocia.

 

DAY 3 CAPPADOCIA / KONYA / PAMUKKALE (B,L)
Early departure for Konya. On the way visit the 13 th century Seljukian caravanseria "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous with Mevlana Museum and the Theological Scholl of Whirling Dervishes.Lunch enroute, drive to Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale.


DAY 4 PAMUKKALE / KUSADASI (B,L)
Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Bazilica and calcium cliffs. Drive to Aphrodisias. After lunch visit the Greco-Romen settlement which is remarkably well preserved. The ancient city is dedicated to the Godess of Love, Aphrodite. Drive to Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi  or Sirince). 

 

DAY 5 IZMIR / ISTANBUL (B,L)
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Meryemana and visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, the Romen Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic greco-roman theatre. After lunch visit the Basilica of St.John drive to Izmir and Transfer to Izmir Airport. On the arrival to Airport, we will meet you at the exit gate with a name board and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

 

DAY 6 ISTANBUL (B,L)

This guided City Tour of the old historical quarter starts after breakfast, when you are picked up from the hotel or port by our private guide. Begin with a visit to Topkapi Palace, the main residence of the Ottoman Sultans, with its jewel encrusted treasury and elegant four courts. After a lunch break, visit the main sights around Sultanahmet Square, including the famous Hagia Sophia Museum, once the largest church in the world for 1000 years, and decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Then visit the Blue Mosque, designed with 6 delicate minarets and a striking blue Iznik tiled interior. Nearby, take a stroll through the site of the ancient Hippodrome, once the sporting ground of chariots and political riots, and see the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column and Fountain of Wilhelm II. Finally, visit the Grand Bazaar, where you can shop or haggle with local merchants over unusual antiques, colorful spices, beautiful jewelry and richly textured fabrics. Overnight in Istanbul.

 

DAY 7 ISTANBUL (B,L)

We begin by driving across the first Bosphorus Bridge, which for a time was the world's longest suspension bridge, and head for the summit of Camlica Hill, which affords panoramic views of Istanbul, the Sea of Marmara and the Princes' Islands. From here a short drive brings us to the Palace of Beylerbeyi on the shore of the Bosphorus.

 

Perhaps the most elegant of the late Ottoman  palaces, Beylerbeyi boasts six sumptuously furnished reception halls with Bohemian crystal chandeliers and Sevres and Chinese vases, including a main salon with an indoor fountain. Guests to have stayed at the palace include Empress Eugenie of France, Shah Nasruddin of Persia and Grand Duke Nicholas of Russia.
